This hardware store harkens back to the era of neighborhood hardware stores, as opposed to big box stores. I really missed it when it was temporarily closed during ownership change.

When you walk in you are quickly greeted and offered assistance. I have found the employees to be much more accessible and knowledgeable than their big box counterparts. For a smaller store, this location has a large selection. Although the prices may sometimes be higher for some items, when compared to Amazon and some big box, the employee knowledge and convenient location more than makes up for it, especially if a part is needed in a pinch.
