I met up with friends at the station in Independence, for my first trip on Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. We stopped in Peninsula to have dinner, and then returned to Independence. I had a great time!
Along the way, I learned some history of the CVS Railroad, enjoyed the beauty of our national park and the wildlife that can be found along the way, including nesting grounds for the bald eagle.
The trip was comfortable and relaxing. The staff on the train was very friendly and knowledgeable. There are beverages and snacks available to purchase.
I definitely recommend this trip. It is great for everyone, children and adults.
